BeaveRun Championship Karting Schedule

Features 12 Races & 3 Double Events

Wampum PA (3.12.07) - BeaveRun Karting Championship Series kicks off the 2007 schedule beginning on Sunday April 29th.  The twelve race series runs from April through September and features three of the very popular "double weekends".

These double weekends will be spread throughout the season including May 19-20, June 30-July 1 and September 8-9.  With racers needing to compete in just eight of the twelve races to be included in the Championship points standings, the double weekends make it possible to vie for their class Championship by making just two additional races if they attend all three double weekends.

Further adding to the appeal of racers traveling to BeaveRun for an event is the fact that each race date is

combined with an open practice on the previous day.  Sunday races will have a Saturday open practice while double race weekends will feature Friday practice followed by racing on both Saturday and Sunday.

The rapidly growing youth karting programs will once again return with both Restricted and Unrestricted Kid Karts leading the way with their exhibition class for the five to eight year old drivers.  Expected increased turnouts in the Cadet field has enabled BeaveRun to split the eight to twelve year olds in to both Novice and Experienced groups. All karts will be scored in a single class but with two separate run groups based on lap times and experience.

Additional Championship classes include Yamaha Junior Super-Can for twelve to fifteen year olds and Yamaha Heavy for the sixteen and over racers. The hugely popular TAG class will again be among the most hotly contested classes in the Championship while the Shifter Karts return as well led by the Stock Moto group.

In addition to the racing and practice schedules, BeaveRun will host several karting schools and a karting show to introduce potential racers to the program.  The Kart Show & Open House is scheduled for May 6 while the Karting Orientation and Kart Racing Schools will take place on April 15 and May 27.

BeaveRun will also play host to several National and Regional touring series including PA Divisional Oval Series, Great Lakes Sprint Series, WKA Manufacturers Cup, WKA Pavement Oval Nationals, Kids 1st Kart Racing Series and American Kart Racing Assoc Nationals.
