In this course, which offers professional classroom instruction concerned with the vehicle dynamics associated with winter driving, you will spend a majority of the day behind the wheel of your vehicle on our expansive Vehicle Dynamics Area.  Our professional instructors will work with you on a one-on-one basis showing you how to assess conditions and then appropriately respond to, or avoid, slippery or otherwise dangerous situations. We will address front wheel skids, rear wheel skids, off-road recoveries, and turning and braking at the same time.  You will develop an understanding of ABS and how it works to help you control your vehicle.

We will take you through a step by step process of skid control and collision avoidance to help you better your driving skills in less than suitable conditions... all the time helping you to become more confident of your ability to address winter driving situations.

Also, at the end of the day, we'll have you hone your newly learned skills in a safe yet fun environment by setting up a driving course that will expose you to a variety of winter-like conditions... an opportunity for you to test yourself and your car. So... don't let winter weather control you any longer... come learn from the pros how to deal with the worst mother nature throws at us.

Time:

• Class begins at 9:00
• Please arrive no later than 8:30,
• Course will finish between 4:30 and 5:00.

Vehicle:

• You will be using your own vehicle for this class so you will become more comfortable with how that vehicle reacts in winter conditions. 
• Other vehicles are available for rental if you prefer not driving yours... please call for rental cost information.
