October 19-20, 2002 Wilson Circuit
BeaveRun hosts its "Great Pumpkin Invitational" Oct. 19-20, 2002. Karting enthusiasts and pro-racers of every age and skill level will enjoy battling it out on BeaveRun's 8/10-mile, 16-turn Wilson Circuit. As the green flag drops, don't miss some of kart racing's finest drivers wind their way to victory and take the checkered flag in this inaugural event.
Packed with plenty of adrenaline rushing speed and action, racers will put their skills to the test as they see how well they stack up against the region's hottest talent. Drivers will fine-tune their skills and reduce lap-times on Saturday in two high-performance heats. Points earned will determine the starting line-up and who earns pole-position in Sunday's championship competition.
Following Saturday's preliminaries, the festivities continue with "Trick-or-Treat at the Trailers," where race teams will hand out treats to little ghosts and goblins. Prizes also will be awarded for best carved pumpkin, creative trailer decorating, best costume, best over-all costume and best couples costume.
The fun will run into the night with a costume party at Calamity Jane's Steak House and Saloon. Enjoy some of the best food in Beaver Falls, buffet style, while dancing the night away to live sounds from Gary and the Moon Dogs.
