October 19-20, 2002
North Track

The National Auto Sport Association (NASA) will host its High Performance Driving Event (HPDE) Oct. 19-20, 2002 on BeaveRun's 1.6-mile, 12-turn north course. HPDE, led by professionally trained, NASA and SCCA licensed instructors, allows participants to hone their driving skills and develop confidence behind the wheel.

Whether you are a novice or a seasoned professional, the HPDE program provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your driving technique and gain valuable track time in a safe, controlled environment.

Beginners will receive valuable tips and tools on how to better handle their vehicle through HPDE classroom instruction. Participants will get the inside track on important topics like learning the line, heel/toe shifting and weight transfer. Upon course completion, drivers are qualified to pilot their way to victory in the HPDE double sprint races.

Experienced drivers may bypass the instruction and head straight for the track. This will be the perfect opportunity to get some extra lap time in before the afternoon race begins.

Spectators have something to enjoy as well, BeaveRun's panoramic viewing area provides a bird's eye view of the racing action.
