Forget all those other "wanna be" experiences. The 007
Experience is the most real, heart-pounding, g-force-pulling,
sweaty-palms, white-knuckle, fist-pumping, high-five, do-it-yourself-fun
adventure you can have anywhere!
Consider for a moment the first time you experienced a
“high-pucker-factor” moment in a vehicle. Possibly in the family sedan.
Possibly during a skid. It was unsettling. It was memorable. It was a
new frontier to be explored by youthful exuberance. It was on Mom or
Dad’s insurance tab. Occasionally, due to inexperience, metal was bent.
If you were lucky, you lived and learned from your indiscretions.
Now you’re mature, successful, a respected member of society…and
unfulfilled. You crave a shot of adrenaline. We can help! BeaveRun’s 007
Experience can give you what you so desperately want. You do almost
everything your parents told you not to do in a car: face speeds of 100+
mph, reverse 180s, car-fighting (with precision immobilization
techniques, or PIT), barricade breaching, spins; the kind of stuff that
you see in the movies that will get you incarcerated in the real world -
but not here. The 007 Experience was specifically designed by those who
wish to push the motoring envelope or who were always the first to say,
“Hey, watch this!” You take the wheel and participate in the same
training programs as the most highly skilled international security
forces. You do the same tactical maneuvers.
If “Military Special Forces” means anything to you, you need this
adventure because it takes you to the edge of driving experiences. This
is not some watered down “PC” version. It’s the real thing, live and
unrehearsed. This is not just a ride along with a professional.
There is nothing like it!
But we don’t stop there. You will end the day going wheel to wheel in
real racing karts on the internationally acclaimed Wilson Circuit.
All classes at the BeaveRun facility are conducted by our staff of
professional instructors in our police package LT1 Chevy Caprices.
Remember: “There’s nothing like it - Anywhere!”
A few Comments
from a recent participant:
- At one point, though, the
instructor suddenly grabbed the wheel and pitched us
off-course into the grass, and my teammate had to get us
back under control and back onto the track. Just a taste of
things to come.
- With the engine screaming
and the sand flying and with hands a-blur on the wheel, this
was big-time fun!
- When I got hit in Turn 10
and pitched sideways and managed to recover from the spin,
the feeling of accomplishment was very satisfying. After we
stopped to change drivers, I turned and applauded the
instructor who hit me, and he gave me a big thumbs-up. Very
cool.
- Each student gets a few
passes, and you’d be surprised how many times you can knock
a stationary car completely sideways until your car begins
to leak vital fluids. (By my unofficial survey, the answer
is six.
- We went back out on the
racetrack in the Caprices, and had this amazing trick
demonstrated to us. Then it was our turn. It turned out to
be astonishingly easy to do. This was the one exercise we
did during the day that made me laugh out loud every time. I
could have spent all day doing Reverse 180s, but it’s a
little tough on transmissions and equilibriums after awhile.
- If you want the ultimate in
driving excitement, and to spend a day making cars do things
you never thought you’d be able to, The 007 Experience is
just the ticket.
- The facility is
first-class, the instructors are friendly, patient and
reassuring, and you can combine your day at BeaveRun with an
evening out in nearby Pittsburgh, which has transformed
itself from its smoky, industrial past into a shining
example of urban redevelopment, with outstanding
restaurants, nightlife and sports facilities
